Biography: Howard Fields has over 35 years of experience in a wide range of professional liability and business disputes, from early consultation focused on prompt resolution, through pretrial litigation, successful mediations, trials and appellate review. Howard likes to solve problems and he views litigation as a last resort. He has tried numerous cases to judgment and successfully briefed and argued dozens of appeals in state and federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court.
Howard has lectured on legal malpractice and ethics for various bar associations, testified as an expert witness in deposition and trials, has served as Judge Pro Team for various branches of the Los Angeles Superior Court and been honored as one of California’s “Super Lawyers” between 2006 and 2016 by the publishers of Los Angeles Magazine and the Journal for Law & Politics.
